Diane found us a table within minutes of us arriving and looked after us during our visit. The carvery was delicious and well priced and the environment was friendly and relaxed.

Lovely staff from the bar, to the carvery, to the waiting staff coming around. Amazing food and the desserts, (giant chocolate eclair) were so good!

Me and my son visit here regularly, for easy local family meal. Our server was ‘Mayensi’ who was so helpful and polite, a real credit to Farmhouse Inns. We ordered a homemade lasagne and your typical kids chicken nugget meal. The lasagne is nearly almost perfect, full of flavour, very filling. Comes with salad, garlic bread and chips (lovely big portion). Our last visit it was a bit dry and over cooked on Thursday 6th March. But till tasty. The salad is fresh, garlic bread and chips were lovely. My son always loves his kids meals here, no issue at all and great value for money with kids free ice cream portion (perfect). My only criticism is please update the play area, this definitely attracts us to come and have regular meals as the kids can burn off some steam. This would be great to see in the future. But overall, very good. We will be back soon. Many thanks Mayensi

Good setting attentive floor staff reasonable prices. Stopped off for a carvery which was hot and tasty but wow. What is the matter with the carvery staff attitude? Sullen, sharp, impudent, didn't want to do it or be there, cannot fault the Asian very polite, attentive floor waitress. But I'll think twice before I want another dose of a grumpy rude counter staff.

Really nice staff such as ann , Diane and Kyle on the tills are so nice and make you feel welcome. I came for my birthday and they give me a slice of cake with happy birthday on , would deffo recommend.

We travelled from Northern Ireland and used this restaurant 3 times. There were 4 of us (2 couples) and as we were staying at the Premier Inn across the road, we preferred to eat somewhere else. The food was delicious but it was the service and the staff who made the visit so enjoyable. I am no good with names but one of the ladies was called Terri and I’m sorry that I can’t recall the other girl’s name but honestly, we have never been treated as well as we were , in a long time. They made us feel welcome and checked that we were ok. They laughed and joked with us and were professional at all times. All of the above applies to the bar staff as well. We can’t wait to go back to see you.

Food is ok, but we have been there quite a few times, and on numerous occasions, they don't have what we wanted, so made another choice and they don't have that either! Place is also a bit grubby, dirty carpets etc. For us, it's just a place to eat. Got the sharing starter, corn was cold, like it had just come out the fridge! Ok, time to edit this review. Now a month on, and still there are issues with this place! We ordered the chicken sharer, a farmhouse salad, and the gammon. Was told can't have the salad as there is no gammon, they use the gammon from the carvery, so then the carvery also has no gammon ! So, made another choice, we both decided to just have the gammon and pineapple eggs etc. (Wasn't very nice, gammon too salty!) Anyway after ordering, the server came to our table to tell us that the starter had no corn, they didn't have any! What's wrong with this place?? Every time we go in there, they have got things missing, this happens a lot. I did wonder why the place was empty, now I know. So, we will not be back again.

We enjoyed a very nice, relaxed family meal at Valley Farm. Good food and super service from friendly and helpful staff.
Thanks to Joanne, Kyle, Ashley and Ryan for looking after us so well.
The cakes were delicious and too big to eat in one go so we were provided with boxes to take the rest home.

Staff were absolutely brilliant. Very friendly and very helpful with my autistic Son too. Food was delicious. Ga.mkn wasn't one of the options to recommend, but my Son had that.
